Are the offices furnished or unfurnished?
Our offices come fully furnished with modern desks and ergonomic chairs, but you are more than welcome to bring your own furniture to make the space feel like home.
What is included in the monthly fee?
We keep it simple: your rent, internet, utilities, and cleaning of common areas are all rolled into one transparent monthly price. Please note that Business Rates are not included in the monthly fee. However, many of our smaller units qualify for 100% relief under the Small Business Bonus Scheme. We recommend checking with Fife Council to confirm your eligibility, as this can significantly reduce your overheads.
Is the internet connection shared or dedicated?
We take connectivity seriously. The Tax Office has its own dedicated 1GB fibre line coming directly into the building, providing ultra-fast, business grade Wi-Fi throughout. This ensures a stable, high-capacity connection even for data-heavy businesses. If your company requires a specific hardwired Ethernet connection or a bespoke IT configuration, we are happy to discuss custom setups to suit your technical needs.
How can I personalise my office space?
We want your office to feel like a true home for your business! You have full creative freedom to make the interior space your own with your company branding, logos, and décor. To ensure the building retains a sleek, high-end professional look for everyone, we take care of all the external door signage for you as part of our standard service. This gives you the perfect balance: a consistent, premium look in the corridors and a fully branded, custom environment inside your doors.
Do I have access to communal spaces?
Absolutely! When you rent a private office, you also get full use of our exclusive Business Lounge. It’s the perfect spot to grab a change of scenery, catch up on emails away from your desk, or network with other members. You’ll also have access to our modern kitchen facilities, stocked with complimentary tea and coffee to keep you fuelled throughout the day.
What are the lease options for the larger units (1,000–7,000 sq.ft)?
Unlike our smaller serviced offices, our larger units are offered on a traditional lease basis. This gives bigger organisations – like charities or corporate HQs – the long term stability they need. Because we are owner-operated, we can be flexible with lease lengths and terms to help your organisation find the right “home” in Glenrothes without the typical corporate red tape.
Is there a limit to how I can fit out my leased space?
